Foreign Filing Permission
Applicants who are Indian residents and have an interest to directly file an application in a foreign country without filing in India has to take permission from the Indian patent office. Foreign Filing license is a written permission provided by the Indian patent office that allows an Indian resident to directly file a patent application in a foreign country without first filing in India. We assist our clients in taking a foreign filing license so that they can safely file the patent application in their market of interest with an option to choose to not to file in India.
