  • Detailed Description of the Invention- This is the heart of the specification and describes the invention in sufficient detail, including: construction, configuration, and working principles; variants, embodiments, and optional features; and best mode of performing the invention. It should be written in clear, technical language, avoiding ambiguity.
  • Claims – Define the legal boundaries of the invention, Hence, it must be clear, concise, and supported by the description. Claims will typically include independent claims in its broadest scope, covering the core inventive concept and dependent claims that include specific features or limitations.
  • Abstract – A brief technical summary (not exceeding 150 words) that is used for search and classification purposes.
  • Drawing – Include detailed drawings that illustrate the invention. Each drawing should be referenced in the description.

  • Enablement and Sufficiency – The description must enable a skilled person to reproduce the invention and should avoid overgeneralization or speculative language.
