Patent hearing is an integral part of the patent prosecution process. After a patent is filed with the Indian patent office, the controller can raise objections with respect to the patent application in the form of office action. If the controller does not feel satisfied with the applicants reply submitted in response to the office action, then the controller further schedules a hearing to discuss the objection in person or via video-conference.
